So what can we do to a lower sample fee from your suppliers? Here is the secret!

First you need to offer a clear design. You’d better have a professional tech-pack so that the suppliers think you are professional and they think they have the big possibility to place order. When it comes to the sample production, they needn’t waste a lot of time to confirm details with you. It saves a a lot of time and money. And if you just have a sketch or a picture, it is OK. Just let the suppliers clear about your design. That's all.

Secondly, usually brands will have more than 1designs in one collection. So please try to get all the design in one suitable supplier. Then you can save a lot of time. Maybe the supplier can offer you a wholesale discount.

Thirdly, discuss your future production plan with your supplier.  So that they can see the potential to get orders. In this way, they can give you more discount or lower price.
